Sil Connect is a marketing, listing, enquiry, comparison and referral-support service only.

Sil Connect does not deliver NDIS supports, provide NDIS-funded services, employ or engage support workers for participants, allocate workers, manage participant supports, act as a support coordinator, act as a plan manager, provide clinical advice, provide legal advice, provide financial advice, process NDIS claims or claim from participant NDIS plans.

Sil Connect collects and uses personal information only for purposes related to operating the website, managing accounts, supporting listings, enquiries, referrals, comparisons, dashboards, tools, communications, payments, security, administration and compliance.

This includes NDIS plan details, support needs, health-related information, behavioural information, accommodation preferences, referral details, contact information and any other participant-related information.

Support coordinators, providers, families, carers and other users must only submit participant-related information where they are authorised to do so.

Sharing Information With Listed Providers or Intended Recipients

Where a user submits an enquiry, referral, shortlist, comparison, contact request or other communication through Sil Connect, relevant information may be shared with the selected listed provider or intended recipient for the purpose of responding to that enquiry, referral or request.

For example, if a support coordinator sends a referral to a provider, Sil Connect may share the referral information with that provider so the provider can review and respond.

Sil Connect is not responsible for how a provider uses information after receiving it, except where required by law. Providers are responsible for handling personal information in accordance with applicable privacy, confidentiality, NDIS, service delivery and legal obligations.

Provider and Listing Responsibility

Sil Connect is not responsible for verifying, endorsing or guaranteeing the registration status, suitability, availability, quality, pricing or compliance of any listed provider, property, accommodation option, vacancy or service.

Providers are responsible for ensuring that information they submit to Sil Connect is accurate, current, lawful, not misleading and does not breach privacy, confidentiality, consumer law, NDIS or other legal obligations.

Payment Information

Sil Connect may collect payment-related information for subscriptions, featured listings or other paid services.

Sil Connect does not directly store full card details. Payments are processed by third-party payment processors. Those third-party processors may collect and process payment information in accordance with their own terms and privacy policies.

Data Security

Sil Connect takes reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

However, no website, online service or electronic communication method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users should take care when submitting personal or sensitive information online.
